Planning Malaysia Journal (PMJ) is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in planning, development, and the built environment. We welcome original research articles and case studies that explore a range of topics, focusing on:

Built Environment Disciplines:

  • Architecture: Architectural design, sustainable building design, heritage conservation, and architectural theory.

  • Interior Architecture: Interior design, space planning, adaptive reuse, and the psychology of space.

  • Landscape Architecture: Urban landscape design, ecological design, green infrastructure, and landscape planning.

  • Construction: Project management, building technology, cost and quality control, and sustainable construction practices.

Property and Development:

  • Valuation & Real Estate: Appraisal methodologies, market analysis, investment strategies, real estate finance, and property economics.

  • Property Management: Asset management, facilities management, lease administration, and property maintenance.

  • Housing: Housing policy, affordable housing, housing development, and residential property markets.

Planning and Infrastructure:
